Welcome to the National Coalition of 100 Black Women, Inc. Central Ohio Chapter! We are excited you are visiting our website to discover who we are and how we advocate for Black women and girls in Central Ohio.
NC100BW, Inc. is a nationally recognized movement of over 14 million Black women and girls in 28 states. The mission of NC100BW, Inc. is to advocate on behalf of Black women and girls through national and local actions and strategic alliances to promote leadership development and gender equity in the areas of health, education and economic empowerment.
I am honored to serve as the President of the National Coalition of 100 Black Women, Inc. Central Ohio Chapter (NC100BWCOC), a non-profit organization, comprised of dynamic Black women committed to elevating the voices of Black women and girls in Delaware, Fairfield, Franklin and Licking Counties.
As Black women, we are the bedrock of our families and by extension our communities. Black women have more advanced degrees, own more small businesses and vote at higher rates than all other groups of women and men. Yet, Black women are poorer today than 5 years ago, experience greater income and wealth disparities and die more often in childbirth than other groups of women.
